Sean built Callagy Law and Callagy Recovery with the ultimate mission to “fundamentally change the way people feel about lawyers, one client at a time.” After attending Columbia University and graduating from Seton Hall Law School in 1996 with cum laude honors, he soon realized that he could only reach his maximum potential by owning his own law firm, so he created Callagy Law in 1999, following one of New Jersey’s effectively top law firms.

Within three years, his firm became a multi-million-dollar success story. Sean’s law practice not only achieved dramatic growth in size but has recovered nearly a billion dollars for his clients. 

Callagy Recovery is a new entity launched by members of Callagy Law, founded by Sean Callagy, to service clients in the Federal IDR process under the No Surprises Act.

Sean Callagy is also the Chief Visionary Officer and Co-Founder of Unblinded. He is the Founder and President of his 100+ person law firm, Callagy Law. When he was only 6 months out of law school in his 20s, while going blind, he quit his job at a prestigious law firm, and within 2 years from then, he built his first 40-person law firm, which he sold 3.5 years later for a multiple 7 figure exit, as the only equity partner. Sean is one of only two attorneys out of 1,220,000 attorneys in America to achieve 2 Top 100 National Jury Verdicts between 2014 and 2016, and the only one who was blind. 

After pioneering the industry of Medical Revenue Recovery, (some say he even invented the industry) he has collected more than $750 million, and is on his way to collecting billions on behalf of his healthcare clients. As an international speaker, Sean has broken sales records on the largest personal development stages in the world, and speaks for Fortune 10-500 companies like T-Mobile, Disney, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Salesforce, as well as for National News Networks and Legal Associations, and raised over 10 million dollars for charity on stage in a single year. 

While creating his professional successes, he coached and attended virtually all of his three children’s more than 1,000 sporting events and activities over the past 15 years and he is a blind warrior and adventurer, skiing, surfing, and scuba diving in the most extreme of conditions.
