Sean Callagy is the Chief Visionary Officer and Co-Founder of Unblinded. He is Founder and President of his 100+ person law firm, Callagy Law. When he was only 6 months out of law school in his 20s, while going blind, he quit his job at a prestigious law firm, and within 2 years from then, he built his first 40-person law firm, which he sold 3.5 years later for a multiple 7 figure exit, as the only equity partner. Sean is one of only two attorneys out of 1,220,000 attorneys in America to achieve 2 Top 100 National Jury Verdicts between 2014 and 2016, and the only one who was blind.
After pioneering the industry of Medical Revenue Recovery, (some say he even invented the industry) he has collected more than $600 million, and is on his way to collecting billions on behalf of his healthcare clients. As an international speaker, Sean has broken sales records on the largest personal development stages in the world, and speaks for Fortune 10-500 companies like T-Mobile, Disney, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Salesforce, as well as for National News Networks and Legal Associations, and raised over 10 million dollars for charity on stage in a single year.

Starting his career in a collections firm, and beginning his career at Callagy Law in 2014, Mark became the first “Senior Paralegal” in the firm’s history and developed a passion for helping support the healthcare industry. After obtaining a MHA from Seton Hall University in 2017, Mark transitioned into his role as Director of Operations for the firm. Along with Tom LaGreca, Mark works relentlessly to drive the Medical Revenue Recovery division from its history of hundreds of millions of dollars in recovery for medical providers, to the benchmark of surpassing $1 billion in the next few years.
Mark has been married to his high school sweetheart, Giselle, since 2008 and spends his weekends traveling to cheer competitions with his daughter Alessia and playing “catch the stuffie” with his daughter Kiara. In between, he cleans up after the family’s Cairn Terrier, Pete. Mark is a different type of thinker, a different type of worker, and a different type of leader for the Callagy Law team. Luckily, Callagy Law is a different type of company, and has provided unique opportunities for Mark and his teammates, while providing industry-changing results for medical providers.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Thomas LaGreca, Esq.Executive Director, Medical Revenue Recovery
After practicing corporate law for eight years and then building a seven figure NYC contracting business, Tom LaGreca joined Callagy Law and its Medical Revenue Recovery team. It didn’t take long for Tom to get acclimated, quickly becoming the Team Leader of the Client Liaison Team, working closely with Sean on business development efforts, and eventually becoming the Executive Director of Callagy Law Medical Revenue Recovery.
Tom contributed greatly to Callagy’s ability to recover $600 million for medical providers with initiatives in NJ No Fault arbitration, NJ Workers’ Comp litigation, and now with Commercial Insurance in State SBL processes and the Federal IDR. He manages a team of nearly 100 attorneys and administrative personnel dedicated to recovering money for the medical community from the insurance industry. He is at the forefront of the fight on behalf of the medical providers during these very challenging times.

JoAnne grew up in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York, and had a very interesting childhood. Her two brothers were child actors, and her family spent quite a bit of time in California while they were filming television shows. She got used to hobnobbing with celebrities.
She attended high school in Staten Island (taking a bus every day) and college in Manhattan (taking the subway every day). JoAnne also attended law school in Manhattan, but finally lived in Manhattan. After law school, she worked at large, prestigious New York law firms and practiced in a variety of areas, from general litigation to bank finance. She then practiced as in-house counsel at New York Telephone Company (now part of Verizon) with areas of responsibility from commercial attorney for new products, to contracts, to advertising.
JoAnne met her husband, Tom LaGreca (now Executive Director, Healthcare Recovery of Callagy Law) at New York Telephone Company. They got married in 1989, and after their three children came along, she pioneered working at home for the company, then known as “telecommuting.” After that period of about 3 years, she stopped practicing, and stayed home with her children. She was very involved with her children’s schools, and after about 12 years, realized it was time for her to re-enter the workplace. That’s when she met Sean Callagy, and has been with Callagy Law since the beginning of 2009.
